Log into your Venue Valet Engage account.
In the menu, select the search users item under Reporting.
You can search for the guest, by email, last name, or phone number.
Select the Gift Voucher icon.
This will open a window with details of the voucher to be issued.
Select the voucher template that you would like to use for this voucher. In this case, it is a ticket voucher. If the voucher template has been configured with a value for the End Date/Time Days to Add or the Redemption Policy Text, those fields will be automatically populated when you select the voucher template.
Select the effective dates that the voucher is valid. Setting the End Date/Time Days to Add field sets how long the voucher is valid after it is issued. This will ignore the date in the Effective To field. In the above example, the voucher will be valid for 30 days after issuance.
Set the quantity on the voucher. This should almost always be 1. In this example, this voucher is good for one ticket purchase.
If you want to issue multiple copies of this voucher, set the Duplicate field. For example, if you set the Duplicate field to 5, it will issue the guest 5 vouchers configured with the values provided in the form.
The Redemption Policy is the method by which this voucher can be redeemed. It is usually just POINT_OF_SALE.
You can select whether the guest should be notified of the new voucher. If you select the Notify the User checkbox, you can select how you want to notify the user, either by email/SMS depending on the guest's configuration, or by push notification to the app.
You can add any necessary terms and conditions in the Redemption Policy Text field.
The Template links have prepopulated terms and conditions which can be used as a starting point for the redemption policy text field.
Click on the Give Gift button to issue the voucher.
The voucher should now be available in the guest's account.
Click on the More info icon.
Scroll down to the Vouchers section, and the new voucher should be visible.
