This is a guide to the icons you may see on your call button monitor. Also see An Introduction to the Venue Valet Call Button System for a detailed guide to the call button system and any additional information that may be displayed on the seat icons.

The title bar of the dashboard contains information about the status of the dashboard.

The full color version indicates that the dashboard is connected to the server.
The black and white version indicates that the dashboard cannot connect to the server. If the dashboard does not reconnect to the server, and this icon remains on the dashboard for an extended period, you may need to contact support.

These are the base icons for the status of the seat.

The seat is either unsold or unoccupied.
The seat is sold, or if you have seat sensors, it is sold and occupied.
If you have seat sensors, the seat is sold, but it is unoccupied.
If you have QR codes, and a guest has sent a service request via the QR code, this will replace the seat icon.

If your location has call buttons installed in areas that are not theaters, for example bowling lane(s), rock climbing areas, go karts, etc., the base seat icon can be replaced with a more specific icon for that area. These are the icons that can be used to replace the base seat icon.

This is the generic icon for a button located somewhere other than a seat.
The button is installed at a bowling lane.

Additional icons are added to the base seat icons to give more information about the seat's button or guest. Multiple status icons can be shown at the same time. These status icons will be shown with whatever the base icon is.

If your call button system has the ID check feature enabled, this icon indicates that a server has verified the ID of the person sitting in that seat.

This icon will be removed at the end of the showing.
If your food and beverage point of sale has the ability to send API calls to the call button system to alert it of issues with a payment, this icon will be shown when the call button system is notified about a critical issue at a seat.

This icon will be removed at the end of the showing.
If your call buttons system has the alcohol status feature enabled, this icon indicates that there is an alcohol order at this seat, and the guest's ID needs to be verified. Once the ID is verified, the icon will be replaced with the check icon used in the check ID feature.

This icon will be removed at the end of the showing.
